Mary Eileen McDonnell (born April 28th 1952) is a famous American stage actor and TV actor. McDonnell was nominated to win an Academy Award for her role of Stands With A Fist in Dances with Wolves. She is also famous for her roles as Laura Roslin, President in Battlestar Galactica and the wife of the President on Independence Day.
